LA-owy beatsmith Knxwledge (znany też jako Glen Boothe, Knx) wydał niespodziewanie EP-kę Gladwemet 12 kwietnia nakładem Stones Throw. Jedyny singiel ze wokalem, "Relapse", z udziałem rapera z LA Traffica, miał premierę 11 kwietnia w ramach Adult Swim's Singles Program. W klimatycznym utworze "Relapse" Knx nawiązuje do lat 90. Traffic, wschodzący raper i przyjaciel z dzieciństwa ScHoolboy Q, dołącza do niego, by położyć zwrotki na spokojnym bicie. Knxwledge zagrał także dwa majowe koncerty NxWorries na West Coast z Anderson.Paak i wystąpi na festiwalu Smokin' Grooves w Long Beach w przyszłym miesiącu.STRONA A1. Relapse feat. TrafficA2. Picked up this Gladwemet 7-inch and it's a solid little EP from Knxwledge. "Relapse" with Traffic has that laid-back 90s feel, and the instrumental on the A-side is a nice bonus. The B-side tracks like rton and summrain keep the chill vibe going. Pressing sounds clean on my setup. It's a short record, so don't expect a full album, but if you follow Stones Throw or NxWorries it's worth adding to the collection.
