호주 출신 데스/블랙 메탈 유닛 Consummation이 데뷔 정규 앨범 The Great Solar Hunter 작업을 완료했습니다. Consummation은 보컬리스트/기타리스트 Craig Young(ex-Impetuous Ritual)이 주축이 되어 드러머 David Hayley(테크니컬 데스 메탈의 마법사들 Psycroptic 소속)와 베이시스트 Joel Rademaker가 합류했습니다. 이 중심 트리오와 함께 앨범에는 기타리스트 John Gossard(Dispirit / Asunder / The Gault / Weakling)가 참여하여 이 거대한 작품에 기타 연주를 더해 더욱 어둡고 뒤틀린, 서사적인 경지로 끌어올리는 데 기여했습니다. 이 앨범은 2012년 셀프 타이틀 데모의 후속작이자 2017년 Ritual Severance EP(Invictus Productions)의 뒤를 잇습니다. The Great Solar Hunter is a massive debut from Consummation. Craig Young's vocals and riffs are grim and twisted, David Hayley's drumming is precise yet chaotic, and Joel Rademaker's bass adds real weight. John Gossard's guest guitar work pushes the dark, warped atmosphere even further. The long tracks never drag; they build through dissonant passages into genuinely moving, melancholic peaks. The vinyl pressing sounds appropriately murky and epic. Not for casual listening, but essential if you like death and black metal with atmosphere and ambition.
