Picked this up on a whim and it's been spinning nonstop. The LongShot's Love Is for Losers is a fun, loose side-project from Billie Joe Armstrong and company, and the punk-inflected power pop here really works. Tracks like "Taxi Drive" and "Chasing a Ghost" mix classic rock and country touches with straightforward rock energy. It feels unpretentious and catchy, a nice change of pace from bigger productions. The vinyl pressing sounds clean and warm. Good for fans of Green Day looking for something scrappier and more relaxed.
