Picked up this 12-inch edition of Kioku No Naka No Umibe and it's a nice pressing. The two-part ANATA GA OMOIDASU TAMENO / KIOKU NO NAKA NO UMIBE project came out in 2024, and Lantern Parade's self-described 'mysterious dance music' really does feel hard to place by country or era. Side A flows well through Aa Sounanoka and Star and Star into Drink up the mineral water, while side B's Let's lose it. Let's do it and Drops keep things moving. Marking 20 years since his debut, it's a solid listen for anyone into offbeat dance music on vinyl.
