I've followed Trever M. Keith since his Face to Face days, so I was curious how this solo chapter would sound. We Drank From a Poison Well reflects his move to the American South and all those years of highways, tour buses and motorcycles. The vinyl pressing sounds warm and open, and the songwriting feels personal rather than rushed. It's a solid pick for anyone who likes roots-leaning rock with real history behind it. Not a casual party record, but one that rewards a quiet evening with good speakers.
