Tubba Lard2. Guillotine3. Predator and Prey4. Not Ready for Tomorrow5. Reality Tunnel6. Nice Guy 7. Chapel Perilous8. Extraterrestrial Memoradum9. BLS10. Perception is Gamble
Picked up Tub Of Lard on vinyl and it does not let up. Eye Flys bring members of Full of Hell, Backslider and Triac together for ten tracks of steel-barbed riffs and off-kilter rhythms. Tracks like Guillotine and Predator and Prey hit hard, but there is real subtlety in how lean the arrangements stay. Coming off their Context EP, this debut full-length pushes that same ruthlessness into maximum impact. Ten songs, no filler. Good pick for anyone into heavy, no-nonsense noise rock on wax.
