A great pickup if you're into garage rock and all-girl bands from the 60s. The 180gm mandarin-colored vinyl feels sturdy and looks fantastic, and the heavy-duty sleeve holds up well. The inner bag is a nice touch, with a 3500-word note and rare photos that give real context. Highlights for me are Girls Take Over's raw take on 'Hi Heel Sneekers' and the Chymes' jangly 'He's Not There Anymore'. Karen Verros is a gem too. Sound is warm and lively, though a couple of tracks are rough around the edges, which is part of the charm.
