I picked up Super Funk 2 as a 2-LP set and it has become a regular spin. Twenty tracks from Johnny Otis, Preston Epps, Irene Reid, Billy Garner, Granby Street Development, Pee Wee Crayton, Schiller Street Gang, Thelma Jones, Jackie Harris, Freddy Wilson and others keep things varied from start to finish. The pressing sounds clean and the sequencing flows well across all four sides. If you enjoy deep funk and soul compilations, this one is worth adding to your shelf.
